KOSPI-listed firms rack up robust earnings in 2024
According to the data compiled by the Korea Exchange, 614 firms on the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) that close their books in December posted an 82 percent on-year rise in their bottom lines last year at 142.81 trillion won (US$97.5 billion), with their operating income also surging 62 percent on-year to 196.82 trillion won.
